Drupal Hands-On Training - July 2010

Course Description

The course will be centered on the development of a personal/professional demo site using strategies common to Drupal site development. You will gain experience in creating multi-paged documents (Books), querying the database and creating dynamically-generated pages and blocks (Views), creating pages with customized content types (CCK), and more.

Course Audience

The course is designed for individuals who are web savvy, used to using SW applications and online interfaces, and are interested in developing sites using a content management system. Although knowledge of HTML/CSS and programming will be useful, it is not a requirement for this course.

Course Materials

We will provide the course materials (all the clicks you need to build the site) and a temporary Drupal site. You will need to bring your laptop and wireless capabilities.

About the Instructor

Cindy McCourt has in-depth skills and knowledge in multiple aspects of the web development lifecycle and is a highly-skilled instructional designer.
